Hey folks.
Can I just say that this new blogger dashboard takes a lot of getting used to. Those of you who don't blog probably won't notice any difference (correct me if I'm wrong) but I, on the other hand, am squinting and scratching my head right now. Okay, it's not that bad, but this is my first post with the new layout...
I have a beautiful polish for you tonight - OPI's 'Bogie'. I think I need to invest in more OPI's because the finish is so glossy without a top coat. I've used this polish many times, but I guess I haven't really noticed it's real beauty until now *sigh*!

I was going to college the following day and I know that my friends there are always interested to see what I'm wearing. One asked me (whilst I doing doing a full set of pink and white gel nails) how many hours I spent on my nails per week. I couldn't tell her, for fear of embarrassing myself!
I made these simply stripes with acrylic paint but as a family member was over on Friday night, I didn't want to spend the whole night in the kitchen painting my nails, so I left them as you see them here.
So, friends...how much time do YOU spend on your nails in a week? Or is it another one of those questions that no-one wants to answer because you might actually find that it's far too long and you may just have an obsession? Come on - indulge me!

That's a beautiful shade and I love black cherry anything! I love your line design. As far as the time I spend every week doing my nails, uhmmm... I do them 2-3 times a week and I try to do simple things because of time, so I try to make my manis about 30-45min... That's just the manicure, but first I spend a couple more minutes picking a color and design/stamp... Oh God... But still, I love nail polish!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you there - probably about three times a week for me too. I do love the whole decision making, preparation and painting process. I don't care how long it takes, lol!
Deletegosh how many hours?....I think on average about 1-2hrs a night unless I am giving my nails a rest

ReplyDeleteI usually do my nails anywhere between 2-4 times a week. And sometimes more. It depends if I'm going somewhere, and where I'm going, or if I'm just staying in. Generally if it's a simple no nonsense nail kind of day I can spend 10 minutes doing them. And if it's a nail art day I can spend an hour or more.

ReplyDeleteyour design is amazing! i probably spend at least a half hour a day doing my nails... and then when you add in blogging and reading other peoples blogs... it creeps to obsession level! :D
ReplyDeleteI spend a good couple hours in the evening after work on my nails, and that's about 3-4 times a week. I use my hands a lot so manis only last a couple days on me anyway. It's good though cause it means I get to try out new stuff and don't get bored.
