Beauty UK mani and Nails Inc Kensington Caviar

Hey, hey! How's it going today?

I finally got rid of the Christmas mani -  it was chipped beyond recognition after a marathon cleaning session yesterday morning. Usually, I don't feel comfortable with the idea of showing a polish 'haul' unless I got a bargain but today, I'm happy to show you what I bought a few days ago...along with my current manicure.

I'm sure you've seen me with Beauty UK polishes before, well, today is no different.  In Superdrug, they are doing a three-for-two on a range of products including cosmetics. So I  got five polishes and a small eye shadow palette (two of the polishes were free):

L-R: Pink Explosion, Peach Melba, Soft Lilac, Soft Grey, Yellow Peril.

From Savers. It has three separate sheets of nail stickers for £1.50 or something like that.

I really wanted to do an exciting manicure but I was just so tired. This is what I came up with:
I used the grey and lilac polish as well as grey/white and lilac stickers.

The grey was streaky on application but both colours were perfect after three coats. Fantastic value for £1.99 each! Beauty UK has a nice range and have a website showing all of their goodies. I think I may have to order on-line in future because Superdrug sells these small bottles for the price of the bigger bottles on the site! The on-line range is far more extensive than what I've seen in there's a nice red glitter that I wouldn't mind having (but it's out of stock!!)

This Kensington Caviar topcoat by Nails Inc is supposed to take 45 seconds to dry. It lived up to its claim and I will definitely use this from now on.  The only thing that was a bit strange was that straight after it was applied, it felt as if I'd put ice water on my nail. It wasn't unpleasant in any way, just really cold for a second or two.

I've had these nail stickers for a while and have never used them. I wanted to try out the big on and just stuck it on there.  I think it looks a little out of place, but I like it nonetheless. That's topcoat all over my cuticles by the way, not dry skin.
The raised texture is making me want to try out some 3D nail designs (to a lesser extent) or some fimo...stay tuned for that experiment.

I hope you like my feeble attempt. I was seriously knackered :-D

Take care friends.
